Just got a new AVIC X710BT installed in my 1997 ES300 Lexus, with a harness from Metra. Everything is great except for this low level buzz that is present only when the car is running. The buzz increases with frequency when i accelerate, and is most present on AM radio. Any idea what the cause is or how to remove the buzz? Thanks

It sounds lke you might have a ground issue, does that car have a factory amp or do you have an aftermarket 4 channel? I am sure its a ground though, unless you smoked your internal amp....

Its got a factory amp. Do you think its worth putting in a ground loop isolator, or should i just redo the grounds? Thanks for the help!

you should bypass the factory amp, and wire the avic straight to the speakers
