I'm going to try the relay trick on this newly released unit today, but wanted to check in with you first - any experience with it working on the AVH-P3200?

Also, I have a Ford five hundred that I wired it to. I put the system blue wire to the ford blue/white dimmer wire on harness, I thought that would provide the dimming ability to the radio, but no dice. Any idea which wire from the pioneer harness controls this?

no. the orange wires are for the dimmer. Blue is for the antenna or amplifier turn on.
havent had a chance to try the relay trick on the 3200 or 4200 yet. ill make a vid once i confirm it works right.
