I also was wondering if the bypass using a relay will work with the 3100... I don't see why it wouldn't, you're basically tricking it into thinking the e-brake is always pulled up. I just don't want to have to fool with a toggle switch. I also am installing this unit into a din space so there will have to be some cutting and trimming to make it fit, any suggestions??

The relay tick works great on the 3100DVD. What car are you putting the unit in? I like to use the bezel that the radio comes with and use it as a template. Cut the opening a little smaller than the template and use a assortment of files to make all your edges straight and smooth.

Installing into an '02 Avalanche 2500, just got the thing today

How would you connect the relay? I just got a system two days ago and i want to play music videos from my itouch or dvds. instuctions for this would be great :) but if there are any other easy ways could you guys mention them? Please and thank you guys
