    I've been tuning my bitone for the better part of two weeks now, and I haven't even started messing with the EQ. I believe with proper levels, crossovers, and T/A, there is actually very little EQ-ing necessary.

    In that case I would just run it as aux. I have a bit one, and it just has numbered input, so in my case I have will have my istreamer running to inputs 1 and 2.     Yes, you would need something to act as a volume control, and control the sound via eq or crossovers. There are tons out there. Anything from an inexpensive half din eq all the way up to a full blown dsp, like a bit one.

I'm going to say its highly unlikely that you can make a 6" sub musically as loud as a 12, for it to happen you would need the " perfect storm" of variables to occur. I'm talking a drastically underpowered 12, a beefier than hell 6 that's very over powered, a perfect box for the 6, a horrible box for the 12, and a whole lot of luck.  less

The proper harness would have solved this issue, but it seems like one wasn't used.

    Buy an ipod touch, mount it in your rear bumper and have it facetime with your ipad when reversing...that's about the only way it will happen.

    I'm pretty sure if you tried watching any video I would try and output it to the radio, and not show it on the iPad. I don't have any experience with that particular model, but All the other radios I have used do this

    I have never seen a T-line do well on a meter. They can give you a pretty flat response, but that's pretty much the enemy of big numbers.

I have no experience with the P99RS, but even pioneers basic radios let you control the ipod from the ipod itself which means you could use the flac player, but any headunit will let you play ALAC files as long as it supports ipod.
