I've been tuning my bitone for the better part of two weeks now, and I haven't even started messing with the EQ. I believe with proper levels, crossovers, and T/A, there is actually very little EQ-ing necessary.

In that case I would just run it as aux. I have a bit one, and it just has numbered input, so in my case I have will have my istreamer running to inputs 1 and 2. With such a powerful processor, you should be able to just setup the outputs as you see fit...I would think

Yes, you would need something to act as a volume control, and control the sound via eq or crossovers. There are tons out there. Anything from an inexpensive half din eq all the way up to a full blown dsp, like a bit one.

6 inch surface area is 28.26. 12 surface area is 113.04 or 4 times the surface area. Right off the bat you're down 6dB. So all thanks held constant, you need to run 4 times the power to a given 6" sub to make up for the difference in surface area. I'm going to say its highly unlikely that you can make a 6" sub musically as loud as a 12, for it to happen you would need the " perfect storm" of variables to occur. I'm talking a drastically underpowered 12, a beefier than hell 6 that's very over powered, a perfect box for the 6, a horrible box for the 12, and a whole lot of luck.

I think most people are running an istreamer into a processor of some sort before going to multiple amps.

It will work out perfectly, I'm sure. It's just boring stuff in my build this far,making speaker plates and what not. When the amp rack, sub box and iPad install start I will have tons of pics.

Check some of the higher end garmins. I know the 3790 does multi-destination routing.

From a quick look, it seems as though your radio has a data turn on, so more than likely what happened is the proper harness wasn't used and instead someone just grabbed switched power from your ignition switch, but grabbed ignition as opposed to accessory. Buy an ipod touch, mount it in your rear bumper and have it facetime with your ipad when reversing...that's about the only way it will happen.

I'm pretty sure if you tried watching any video I would try and output it to the radio, and not show it on the iPad. I don't have any experience with that particular model, but All the other radios I have used do this

I have never seen a T-line do well on a meter. They can give you a pretty flat response, but that's pretty much the enemy of big numbers.

I have had numerous fellow competitors, and some friends who don't compete buy designs from PWK. I hate to say it but most were drastically underwhelmed with their results.

I can honestly say I have never done a "break in" period for my subs. I can also say I've never experienced a problem of any kind from doing so.
