    Why Birch?
    just watched the new amplified and wanted to know the benefit of using birch to build an enclosure

    yes the port is flared and i think the nail was hit on the head i have about an inch of spacing from the back wall i think that is why it is sounding funny.

    save your money for the audison 5 ch its worth every penny but that alpine v-60 is a nice budget amp but it could use more sub power

    It's a t0 I haven't tried a bigger port I think I'm gonna build a normal vented enclosure for it. I normally don't use band pass just wanted to try it for a customer who is a fried of the shops.

    It's a PVC aero port. The port is above the woofer offset to the right of the woofer. I checked it for leaks. But didn't see or feel any. Is it possible for a woofer to create to much pressure to be in a BP box.

    My bad. Forgot to put specs
    The sealed chamber is 1.3ft3
    The vented chamber is 1.1
    The port is 3inch round by 9 long

    killer port noise
    built a 4rth order bp box and its loud as hell and you feel it in your chest but i am picking up port noise so bad im not sure what to do any ideas
