I can change tracks back and forward on the deck and also everything on the iPad works perfectly

Did this years ago when I had 6 10's
I just put the switch inline with the speaker wire so I could have any number on at a time.
Those were the days of experimentation!
But mike is right that's the easier way to do it if you have multiple amps running your subs.

I personally don't like the w7 but that's just me
However having said that if you were going to go with a 13 w7 in some sort of slot ported box then there is no doubt in my mind that you would achieve what your looking for in terms of sq and output

There are a lot of brands out there that make some very high quality woofers that might be little known to you it's just a matter of doing a little research.
Boston acoustics do some very nice woofers and you can pair it with a passive radiator to get your output  less

A little known brand over this way but defiantly worth the listening test if you can find a shop that carries the brand
They also have some sick subs and Amps if your heading that route!

X series woofers are some of the cleanest around and they are very happy with that kind of power.

If you can get your hands on a pair of the r series tweets from a newer set they should work just fine as I did that in a mates car not so long ago.
