Basically between the JL 10w3v3-2 or Boston Acoustics G310-44 for more of a SQ sub then SPL. I have up to 300watts RMS @ 4ohm and 500 RMS @ 2 ohm (I plan on running at 2 ohm) from the amp I have. I would be putting them the sealed box, the size the manufacturer recommends (.5cuft for boston and .625cuft for JL). Also I usually listen to country, electronic, rock, and some rap/pop if that makes a difference. I can get both for around the same price and I had seen online that the boston was compared with a w6, but I was a little sceptical of that. I have an JL 8w1v2-4 right now (added to my OEM setup that already had an 8") and liked the JL, plus I know the w3 is a good sub, just wasn't sure of the boston (though I definitly like it uses a small enclosure, I don't want a massive box). My plan is to replac...    less

Hey there, great forum guys, definitly learned a lot here (not to mention watching amplified, that stuff is hilarious/teaches a lot)

Anyway....so I'm stuck deciding between two subs and wondered what yall think. Basically between the JL 10w3v3-2 or Boston Acoustics G310-44 for more of a SQ sub then SPL. I have up to 300watts RMS @ 4ohm and 500 RMS @ 2 ohm (I plan on running at 2 ohm) from the amp I have. My plan is to replace the OEM 8" with my 8w1v2 and add the 10". And if it matters its going in a '08 toyota highlander, not a sedan.

so, anyone got experience with boston accoustics?

    Thanks guys!
