i did. saw a guy do a samsung galaxy 7. he didnt talk much about parts he used tho.

I would think a 7" tab would be fairly straight forward, it's like fitting a decently oversized double din with no depth.

Yeah I've been wondering about a Andriod tab install as well as the blackberry tabs too Dan. Hopefully someone will get one done at SoundMan so we can see. I think they would work better space wise than the bigger ipads in my ride, but like you said what parts are available for them to do so.

prob i see is that there is no standard
(connector config) with android tabs. some have i have seen some with almost identical plugs as ipad/ipod. then some have mini usb hdmi and 3.5mm.

I am doing my own install with the new Acer Iconia 7 inch tablet. It has a special charging port and hdmi, micro usb, and 3.5. My plan is to buy a dock for it that has audio/charging out.

I really thought hard about it. But Im still going with apple. I think are high priced, but they are def the high quality. I went with ipad cause the interface and everything is much simpler, Which I like when in my vehicle. Of course I have to have it jailbroken to have it somewhat useful! Which also opens it up to endless options. More then a rooted android tablet. IMO
