  I am installing an IPad in to my 65 gto convertible.  Can this be done with just the istreamer and the JL remote level controller?  I know in the past it was required to use the bit one but if I don't have to spend the $700-$800 I don't want to.  

   

  I already have an amp in the car with separates and sub woofers.  I want to be able to control the music levels as I would with a standard stereo, ie; fader, subs, etc.

  Your going to loose balance and fader unless you use something between the istreamer and amps, instead of the JL volume knob, that has the feature
  
  But at that point your spending about as much as a BitTen D would cost, which is the same as the BitOne, except it only has 5 total channels instead of 8, enough for an active 2 way+sub or passive f+r+sub. It will sound way better than the istreamer method and give you WAY more tuning options than any other method, they retail for $600 but sell all day at $450ish and it cones with everything you'd need except what you need to pull a digital signal from the iPad...is charging important? If not I use the Apple Camera connection kit, with a coolgear 12v USB hub (necessary), with a turtle beach use to digital optical adapter Iand it works flawlessly

  well thats horseshit, my local shop screws me over. prices are way to high. can you do me a favor and look up the retail prices of the hertz ht28 and audison av 1.1?

  i meant the voce tweeter my bad lol..fuck my shop bro, they said like 349 for the ht 28

  the Voce is the same as the 28mm high energy and the Voce mid is slightly more than the High energy mid, thats why i was like huh when you said the Voce's were way more...sorry for taking over your post Matt haha

  dammmn dude...im super pissed off right now, i ordered my hertz hl70 last week and it should be here monday, and I could have paid less and gotten both the voce mid and tweeter

  Where is a good source for the audison units? I can't seem to find them at any of the typical online stores.
