Hey, I've got a 04 g35 sedan. Ive got an alpine pdx 4 channel amp that puts out 100 watts per channel. I need some new 6.5 components for the front. I either need a pair that will handle 100 watts RMS, or a pair that will handle 200 watts RMS Active. If I ran them active. I would then just run the back speakers off the deck.

I don't think I have enough of a budget for that.

Then your not going to gain anything by running active, you could run your amp bridged...I have a set of JL VR650s on a PDX4.100 bridged in my Vette and they sound great!

Maybe look into some Hertz Energys...what kind of music do you listen to

I run all CDT Audio speakers and it's what I sell as my high end brand. The HD line, such as the HD-62 or the HD-62AS components, would be right in line with your budget.

CDT is a good brand, in that range your also within the price of hertz energy or focal polyglass.
