This is my first time to actually make a new part for the interior of my truck. I have built plenty of boxes, made little things like phone mounts and even parts for the exterior out of fiberglass, but this is the first time ive combined them to tackle something i havent ever done before. This thing started out with 2 Kicker 10" L5 subwoofers in mind with the planning. However i have decided to go with one of my 2 kicker CVX 12"s and i honestly think it was the smartest decision. I plan to downfire it in the center of the console, having to cut out an elipse in the sides of it to match the contours of the rim of the sub. When i finished, it will be lit up like a chrismas tree. Im putting a plexiglass window directly under the ipad mount, which will be under the air condition controls once finished. Inside the box will be dressed up with diamond plate hopefully, fiberglass, and black and blue paint. There will be 2 Blue LED strips, one on either side of the window, and 2 Red. The blue will be wired to pulse with the bass delivered to the sub, along with a small white light under each passenger floor. Blue and Red LEDs will also be under the passenger and driver floor along with under each seat to light up the back floorboard as well. I have been so excited to finish this and it has come along just the way i wanted it too. Stay tuned because ill be adding more and more pics as i progress.
